JPD CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The Utah Chapter of JPD is currently accepting award nominations for the following to be presented at the Utah Rehabilitation Association Conference October 26,2021. Please visit the URA website for further conference details.

The Awards are:

The Kathy Daley Award for 

Distinguished Career in Job Development

This award is given to an employment specialist in recognition of his or her career achievements spanning years within the field of job development. 

Job Developer of the Year

This award is presented to a job developer who, over the past year, has made a significant difference in the job and career paths of clients with disabilities.

Business Partner of the Year

This award is presented to the business who, over the past year, has made a significant contribution by collaborating with community rehabilitation and related providers and by hiring and cultivating the success of employees with disabilities.

JPD Member of the Year*

This award is presented to the JPD member who, over the past year, has contributed to the mission and work of JPD in a way that demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and commitment to the field of job placement and development.  *Nominees of the JPD Member of the Year award must be members of JPD at the time of nomination and award acceptance. 

NOMINATION CRITERIA

Self-nominations and nominations by colleagues are acceptable. Nominees of the JPD Member of the Year award must be members of JPD at the time of nomination and award acceptance. Nominees for all other categories do not need to be JPD members. 

MEMBERSHIP VERIFICATION

If you are nominating someone for the JPD Member of the Year Award, please check with Paul Barnes, membership chair, to verify nominee’s membership status BEFORE you e-mail your packet.
