URA Yearly Awards
URA recognizes the dedication, work ethic and character of rehabilitation professionals in Utah by providing the following peer nominated awards.

Garth Eldredge Award of Excellence Awarded to a person who has made a long standing, career long impact on the field of rehabilitation in Utah. Past recipients have been recognized for their long record of legislative advocacy, service, staff development and/or mentoring, or overall leadership.
Rehabilitation Professional Award Awarded to a rehabilitation professional who has gone above and beyond the normal job description through community involvement, advocacy, or who has excelled by becoming a “go to” expert on specific topics or issues.
Advocate of the Year - Awarded to a person who has made an impact by advocating for people with disabilities either in the community, with the legislature, by organizing consumer groups, pushing for better services and service provision, or by being involved in a big difference making program that helps people with disabilities with independence and full inclusion.
The Support Professional Award - Awarded to secretaries, technicians, assistants, benefit specialists, claims adjusters, or any other non-vocational counseling position who facilitates services to VR clients by their friendliness, customer service, problem solving and overall helpfulness.Vendor of the Year
- Awarded to a company or entity which provides services which positively impact the lives of people with disabilities by providing support, community integration, assistive technology, or job placement and development services.
